Andrew Winter is understandably obsessed with houses. As a residential property expert he is the multi-award winning presenter of Selling Houses Australia, the LifeStyle Channel’s most watched series. It is the most popular non-sports program on FOXTEL with a viewing audience of over 2.6 million Australians to date and celebrated its eighth season in 2015, with more to come.

The show has won the ASTRA Award for Favourite Program Australia six times and has received several TV Week Logie nominations while Andrew has won the ASTRA subscriber’s choice award for Favourite Male Personality for five consecutive years since 2010 and holds the current title.

Andrew is a sought-after presenter and is passionate about speaking to consumers and the real estate industry about topics including how to prepare your home for sale, achieve the best sale price, what to look for when buying a new home or investment property and the process and tips to successfully downsizing in retirement.

As an MC Andrew has hosted and presented events for Australian Unity Retirement Living, Grand Designs Australia LIVE, Bunnings, Lend Lease Retirement Living and the Property Masterclass series for News Ltd, to name a few. In 2006 Andrew also appeared at The BBC Good Homes Show and House and Garden Show at Olympia in London.

Andrew began his career in real estate in the UK at the age of 17 and has since spent more than 25 years in the industry in the UK, Europe and, after moving here in 2005, Australia.

In 2014 Andrew released his second book, Andrew Winter’s Australian Real Estate Guide. He is an ambassador for Sanctuary Cove and since 2011 has been one of News Ltd’s panel of real estate experts. As a champion of consumer issues, he delves into the issues faced by property owners, buyers and sellers across Australia. His articles feature in national, regional and local newspapers and magazines including The Daily Telegraph in Sydney and the Herald Sun in Melbourne. He also operates a consultancy helping people sell their homes all across Australia.

Andrew has also been a guest on Today Breakfast, Sunrise and Sky News and is an ongoing regular voice on numerous national and regional radio stations.

Often described as straight talking, Andrew Winter is known for cutting to the chase and saying what everyone else is avoiding when it comes to real estate.
